about us
principal's message

Commercial Road Primary School has a high quality, dedicated staff, who strive to ensure all children reach their full learning potential.

Welcome to Commercial Road Primary School website. Here you will find a broad range of information about our school. If however, you don't find what you are looking for, personal enquiries are always welcome, so please drop in to our school and or make an enquiry by phone.

Our school has high quality, dedicated staff, who strive to ensure all children reach their full learning potential. Students in grades Prep to Two are actively engaged in the Developmental Curriculum, while those in grades Three to Six participate in Inquiry Learning. Students across all class levels work in learning hubs and are encouraged to create personal learning goals. Teachers work closely together in learning teams to plan. This ensures consistency of approach in lesson delivery and student expectations. Students also participate in specialist education classes including music, information technology and physical education. We are dedicated to upholding a core set of values, where Support, Co-operation, Acceptance, Respect and Friendliness (SCARF) are an integral part of all interactions.

All members of the school community are committed, enthusiastic and engaged in student learning. Students, staff and parents build positive relationships using our SCARF values.

School assemblies are held once a week in the Multi-Purpose Room. This begins with the singing of the National Anthem and then the presentation of weekly student and values awards. Parents and friends are always welcome to attend.
